This technology works by creating a mirror of all data on more than one harddisk automatically, without any delay i.e. all data is written to multiple harddisks simultanously so that if any harddisk fails, that harddisk will be marked as deactivated and the system will still continue to function as though nothing has happened by using the copy of the data on the other harddisk(s).
